SECURITY The nursery has several security practices in place: entry can only be accessed though the main entrance which has an intercom system and can only be opened from the inside of the property. The outside gate is locked at all times and risk assessments are completed on a daily basis for all outdoor and indoor areas. All visitors to the property must sign in and be accompanied by a member of staff at all times. OUTDOOR PLAY AREAS We have two outdoor play areas which are used by the children; the front area is used for children to play on trikes and other ride-ons and the larger rear garden which is covered with *Pro-Play Impact Absorbing Playground Surface. In this area we have a sandpit and water trays and various climbing equipment. We also have our two rabbits in this area, which are kept in an “egloo” style hutch which incorporates a run for the rabbits and enables the children to see them at close quarters. HOLIDAYS The nursery is closed for one week at Christmas and all Bank Holidays. Fees are payable for Bank Holidays but there is no charge for Christmas week.
